GOOD NEIGHBOUR AWARD PROGRAM

 

Do you know a family member, friend or neighbour who helps to enhance the community of Crystal Beach?   Many of us do contribute and benefit our community.   However there are those who go out of their way to enrich the lives of others in a selfless manner.  The Friends of Crystal Beach want to recognize these folks in a special way.  We want to honour two special people and present them with a Good Neighbour Award in each of the months of July and August.  

 

When you notice that someone has performed a good deed or provided a service that you feel deserves recognition you can honour them with a nomination for THE FRIENDS OF CRYSTAL BEACH "Good Neighbour Award".

 

To qualify for the “Good Neighbour Award” nominees:

 

1.      Reside in Crystal Beach

2.      Have made at least one significant contribution to the Crystal Beach community during 2005

3.      Have made a contribution beyond normal citizen responsibilities

4.      Have demonstrated concern for our neighbourhood’s well-being and through their efforts have improved the quality of life in Crystal Beach

 

THE FRIENDS OF CRYSTAL BEACH will select the winning nomination from all the candidates submitted.  All nominations will be recognized and the two winners will receive awards.

 

An Awards Ceremony will be held during the Waterfront Concert on July 31, 2005 in which the first winner will be awarded with a   “Good Neighbour Award”.  Nominations for this event must be received no later than July 25.

 

An Awards Ceremony will be held during the Waterfront Concert on August 28, 2005 in which the second winner will be awarded with a   “Good Neighbour Award”.  Nominations for this event must be received no later than August 22.

 

To qualify as a nomination include the following information in your correspondence:

 

1.      Name of Nominee

2.      Nominee Residential Address

3.      Nominee Phone Number

4.      Describe in your own words why this nominee deserves recognition

5.      Name of Person Nominating

6.      Nominator’s Phone Number
